After two hours of diligent searching from above, Ali Gilfillan, a skilled drone pilot and firefighter, spotted the woman's location – describing it as “looking for a needle in a haystack”. The rescue team quickly mobilized and, with utmost care, assessed her condition. A makeshift splint was crafted to support her broken leg, and she was transported on a stretcher through approximately 300 meters of dense woodland to reach the road. The woman was then handed over to the care of paramedics, ensuring she received the medical attention she desperately needed.
